This giant pasta called Calamarata, whose name derives from the octopus (Calamaro), is particularly well suited to the classic recipe of the same name "Calamarata", in which the pasta is served together with squid rings in tomato sauce. This large pasta is also particularly tasty in sauces with meat and vegetables. Calamarata dried slowly at low temperature, produced in Abruzzo by the pasta factory Fratelli de Luca. The pasta is pulled through the bronze mold using the traditional artisan method - this creates the rough surface to which the sauce sticks beautifully. Package of 500 g.
