A pure Montepulciano from the manual selection of grapes from vines over 30 years old, producing a deeply coloured and intensely fragrant wine. The terroir guarantees these grapes optimal temperature variations, giving this wine an extreme richness of aromas as well as a pronounced fruitiness: red flowers, blueberries and sweet oriental spices are surrounded by soft tannins and elegant acidity, making for a complex and long-lasting taste experience. This wine was made after a 15-day maceration with the skins, during which it was pumped over 3 times a day. The wine was then racked into wooden barrels and left until the end of malolactic fermentation. Cantina Rosarubra is an organic winery in Pietranico, a small municipality in the Abruzzo province of Pescara. The Demeter certification guarantees biodynamic agriculture that preserves the climate, the soil and the resources.
